IMPORTANT REMINDER:

Please remember that the cul-de-sac is a no car/no parking zone.  When dropping off or picking up students, please DO NOT ENTER the cul-de-sac.  Your student(s) should get out at the corner where the dead end sign is and walk the rest of the way to the school.  This holds true for students coming early for tutoring or zero period science or study hall, and also for afternoon club pick-ups.  To clarify:  the cul-de-sac is that final block which leads up to the school driveway (the block past SE 50th and the Dead End sign).

-Homework – Issues and Concerns including quantity, and timeliness.

-Science in the Upper School – We have asked Brad and Laura to join us for this conversation.

-Sleep habits, screen time, and how they affect school performance.

-When you have a concern or idea, what is the best way is to get your idea heard–other than attending a parent council meeting, of course?

The film for this month is the classic,  Casablanca

Set during World War II, Casablanca focuses on a man torn between love and virtue. He must choose between his love for a woman and helping her Czech Resistance leader husband escape the Vichy-controlled Moroccan city of Casablanca to continue his fight against the Nazis.  Starring Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Claude Rains, and Paul Henreid.
