Here’s what is happening at Hillside in May…

 

Friday, May 2 –

No School (weather make-up day)

Script Writing (gr. 9-11 ONLY) – 8:00 am-11:00 am

 

Tuesday, May 6 – GiveBIG

We will be sending out a reminder, but all donations that are made on our page at The Seattle Foundation on this day will count towards getting stretching funds.  If you were thinking of making a donation to Hillside, this is the day to do it!

Drama Intensive Performance – 7:30 pm

Hillside Drama presents an evening of comic one-act plays, performed by the talented actors from our Drama Intensive. 
 
Works include The Philadelphia and Words, Words, Words by mind bending playwright David Ives, The Statue of Bolivar by Eric Lane, and The Scary Question by Wayne Rawley. Each of these playlets is a revelation – funny, poignant, and not to be missed. 
 

Content advisory: PG-13 due to language and mature themes.

History Feast – 5:00 pm

Each year since 1987, the Hillside high school history class has performed a meeting of minds. This is a dramatic presentation of characters from history that the students have chosen to research. They tell their life stories, engage in a conversation written by the students, and answer questions from the audience. Please come for a light potluck meal and an entertaining and educational evening.

Students in gr. 9-11 arrive at 10:00 am and stay until 10:00 pm. Feast guests arrive at 5:00 pm.

An invitation with details will be sent out separately.
