Every three years, Jean and Kael lead a group of Hillside Upper School students on a guided two-week tour of London and Paris.
These two great cities provide unrivaled opportunities for exploration and discovery. From London’s reconstructed Globe Theatre to the modernized courtyard of the Louvre in Paris, these centers of art, culture, history, and human achievement also teach us lessons in reinvention.
With our small flexible group (no more than 14 students), we can travel light and visit places impossible to access with a crowd. Staying in centrally located youth hostels, we experience the great artifacts of Western civilization: from the Magna Carta, the Rosetta Stone, and the Venus de Milo to the Tower of London, the Eiffel Tower, and the Catacombs of Paris. We attend plays in the West End, and concerts in Sainte Chapelle. History comes to life.
